Conversations That Keep History Alive

About

I’m Alexander Provencher-Gelves, a middle school podcaster and aspiring historian with a passion for preserving the stories that have shaped our nation and our communities. Through Living History with Alex, I have the honor of sitting down with veterans, first responders, and local heroes to listen to their experiences, learn from their wisdom, and share their voices with others. I believe our history must be told—not just in textbooks, but through the real stories of the people who lived it.

It is especially important for young people like me to understand the sacrifices, courage, and leadership of those who came before us. When we hear directly from veterans and community leaders, we gain lessons that can guide our character, inspire service, and strengthen our future. My mission is to help connect generations, honor those who served, and make sure their knowledge and legacy continue to educate and inspire youth for years to come.
